At Homestead Comforts, we're dedicated to providing you with quality products and a smooth shopping experience. As a small, family-run business, and with the unique demands of being an active duty military spouse—often a one-person operation (personally and for the business)—we truly appreciate your understanding and support. Please review our policies below.

 


 

Subscription Policy

Reminder for all products: Please remember, as these are cosmetic goods, all sales are final.

Individual Items and Bundles.

  • Monthly Subscription: Save 10% on your item. Your initial commitment is 3 monthly payments, billed on the same day you placed your first order. After this initial commitment, you can cancel anytime through your customer account.

  • Quarterly Subscription: Save 5% on your item. Your initial commitment is 2 quarterly payments, billed every three months on the same day you placed your first order. After this initial commitment, you can cancel anytime through your customer account.

  • Semi-Annual Subscription: Save 5% on your item. Your initial commitment is 2 semi-annual payments, billed every six months on the same day you placed your first order. After this initial commitment, you can cancel anytime through your customer account.

  • Yearly Subscription: Save 5% on your item. Your initial commitment is 2 yearly payments, billed annually on the same day you placed your first order. After this initial commitment, you can cancel anytime through your customer account.

How to Manage Your Subscription: Your subscription will automatically continue until you choose to cancel it via your customer account.

Special Subscription Boxes:

  • Seasonal Soap Box Soapscription: Save 10% on each box and enjoy free shipping. Your initial commitment is 2 quarterly payments ($35 per quarter), billed every three months on the same day you placed your first order (March, June, September, December). Cancel anytime after your initial commitment.

  • The SoapBox Soapscription: Save 10% on your chosen selection (e.g., 3 soaps for $30, 5 soaps for $48, prior to savings). Enjoy FREE Shipping on every monthly delivery! Your initial commitment is 3 monthly payments, billed on the same day you placed your first order. Cancel anytime after your initial commitment.

 


 

Refunds & Returns Policy

  • All Sales Final for Cosmetic Goods: Due to the nature of our products as cosmetic goods, and for hygiene reasons, all sales are final once an order has been processed. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on items once they have been shipped.

  • Refund Before Shipment: If you wish to request a refund before your package has shipped, please email us immediately at comfortsforlife@gmail.com. Once you receive a tracking number, your order has been processed and prepared for shipment, and a refund may no longer be possible.

  • Damaged or Defective Items: In the rare event that your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 3 days of delivery at comfortsforlife@gmail.com. Please include clear photos of the damage and your order number so we can promptly assist you with a resolution.

 


 

Shipping Policy

  • Processing Time:

    • Regular Orders: Please allow approximately 2-5 business days for your order to be processed before shipping. This does not include weekends. If we deem delay to be longer, we will attempt to discuss via email or text message. 

    • Pre-Orders: Pre-orders ship after regular orders, typically within 1-20 business days from the preorder date. As a small, family-run business, and with the unique demands of being an active duty military spouse, processing times can sometimes extend up to 3-4 weeks. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding during these times. Pre-orders guarantee your chance to receive items that may sell out quickly.

  • Shipping Transit Time (Once Shipped):

    • Standard Shipping: Expect delivery within 3-5 business days once scanned by USPS.

    • Priority Shipping: Packages will arrive in approximately 2 business days after being scanned in by USPS. Please note, priority shipping does not reduce the processing time.

  • International Shipping: We currently do not ship outside of the United States.

Addressing Shipping Issues:

  • Missing Package (In Transit): If your tracking shows your package is missing or stuck in transit, please contact USPS directly first to see if they can resolve the issue. If the problem persists, please email us at comfortsforlife@gmail.com for assistance. A partial refund, excluding original shipping costs, may be issued if the package cannot be located.

  • Wrong Address Provided by Customer: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the correct shipping address is entered at checkout. If you realize an error during the processing period (before a tracking number is issued), please email us immediately at  comfortsforlife@gmail.com to request an address change.

  • Package Delivered to Wrong Location (within town): If your package is marked as delivered but not at your residence (e.g., delivered to a neighbor or different address in your town), please contact USPS directly. They can contact your mail carrier to help locate the package.

  • Invalid Address: If your provided address is incomplete (e.g., missing house number, correct city, zip code), we will attempt to contact you via email or text message for correction. If there's no answer within 24 hours, your order will be refunded excluding original shipping costs. If a package is returned to us due to an invalid address, your order will be refunded excluding original shipping costs.
